Staff, learners and guests gathered on the school compound to celebrate a trophy won by the school's Music Club at the Kenya Music Festival.
The trophy was placed on a table under the tents, and the Music Club's patrons and school leaders took turns to receive it and congratulate the choir. Learners from across the school watched from rows of chairs, and members of the school's uniformed youth group marched in the programme.
Level of the festival (zonal, sub-county, county, regional or national), the year and category, the trophy sponsor, the Music Club patron and the title of the winning item.
The Music Club rehearses throughout the year. Folk songs and other items in the Kenya Music Festival syllabus are part of the club's work.
